Angel-Lily Cards and Gifts

We are based in Darwen, Lancashire, a small northern town between Blackburn and Bolton. We started here trading in small fairs, markets and fetes, initially concentrating on local features, landmarks, locations and events, hence the Darwen section of gifts and cards featuring our home town and something we are proud of.

For those local to Darwen or have connections to Darwen, we have a selection of our frames and gifts available to buy either for yourself, a family member or as a reminder of your time here when visiting.

We attend a number of events in the town such as the regular Artisan Markets, Fairs, or other events such as Darwen Live, or the new Scooter weekender and Darwen Pride. We often have items associated with those events.

In Memory of Kirsty Done
I first met Kirsty at the Friends of Sunnyhurst Woods Craft Fair. We got talking and she bought some cards from me, followed my Facebook page and we became good friends on both on and off Facebook.

I asked one day if anyone had a good photo of Darwen Tower as I hadn’t be able to get close up to take my own. Kirsty very kindly offered me this amazing image of Darwen Tower in Winter, and allowed me to use it.

I was deeply saddened when she passed. Although only knowing her a few months, I was touched by her, always smiling even through the last few weeks, she remained strong and fought very hard.

Following her passing, I have decided to donate 50% of every sale of this image be that in card or gift format to her family, who in turn have asked me to send it to the North West Air Ambulance Charity. A fitting tribute to remember Kirsty.
